Process for buying a home for cash

I've been searching through the forums and can't seem to find a clear view of the buying process when it comes to paying cash for a property, so would appreciate some clarification.

1 - talk to my attorney and get a contract written up to my specs.
2 - present offer/contract to seller (they sign)
3 - then what
4 - then what
5 - etc

I'm a bit lost when there are no agents involved and I have never purchased a home. Once I can get a purchase completed from start to finish, it will be smooth sailing, but until then...

Can someone walk me through the process? When do I go to the title company, pay the seller, inspect home, see attorney again if I'm supposed to, etc?
