(Long Story Alert)

Some back story...

This summer, I made the decision to NOT return to UCA and study medicine, but instead go to the college in my grandparents town (it is cheaper) and take classes in Finance (Real Estate) and Entrepreneurship. Classes are starting soon and I don't know if I should go to college if I desire to make real estate a full time job. I am currently selling on ebay and I just applied at a local arts and crafts store to get some income for REI.

Considering I have free food and shelter, should I just focus on studying real estate and making money to invest or should I attend college (approx. 4k a semester)?

Also, I have an unrelated question: Once I find a house I wish to attempt to wholesale, do I just contact the seller and tell them I want to buy the house and write up a contract if they agree? I am confused by that entire process.

I apologize for my scattered thoughts, my free time for Biggerpockets is after 11pm so I am exhausted. Thanks!
