Tampa Bay Investment Club

Hi Guys, 

Has anyone heard of the Tampa Bay Investment Club? They have a meeting tomorrow morning and I want to make sure it's not a scam because it really doesn't sound legit for it to be an investment club. If you have any info on this please provide it.

So I didn't get the you'll learn it all in 3 days feel.   What made me feel comfortable was the investor there checked out as currently investing, linked in references good, and llc checked out. Club also is money back  guarantee after the first day of the 3 day  wasnt for me, and if i found a deal that closes in 60 days, not do, just find i get my finders fee and $600 refunded.  It does come across as a mentorship program, i asked about upsales and they said we do have 1 on 1 available but the 3 day is the training to start you finding deals, 1 on 1 is to help someone's confidence.  $600 is the training and 1 year club membership, including monthly meetings. 

I'm on bp, im a buy and hold investor putting out offers currently for my next live in flip.  What I want to learn is the local market.  They are looking to mentor the club to find deals in the area that they fund or you fund, your choice.  A deal closes you get finders fee.  I'm looking at as if I find 1 deal that closes I'm in the green.  I only paid 300 to reserve my spot for 31jul and Aug 1,2.  I am hesitant but am curious and to learn their system.  Let me know what you think of the presentation and keep in touch, I'm in Clearwater.

Did you learn how to find deals in tampa? I figured that it would be that type of program which is why I asked bp. I was hoping it would be a real club like tbreia. I know how to find the best areas to invest in you could easily learn that without paying someone. I don't believe I will actually attend this meeting because it's more like a seminar which is what I asked them but they told me no it wasn't. Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I also do not want a finders fee I'd rather close the deal on my own that's how you learn about real estate. You could honestly learn everything they've probably told you from bigger pockets if you asked. I'm also wholesaling so if you're interested in receiving deals just shoot me a PM with your email
