I was wondering how many of you have tried this site? Is this a good source for finding absentee owners? What method do you use regularly? By the way, I'm a new wholesaler trying to get things started in Ontario, California.

As I, too, started buying properties in your area in the late 70's and early 80's. In fact, I used to have several rentals in Ontario, south of the 60 fwy.

I suggest you focus on property opportunities where the motivation is obvious. We used to get our foreclosure lists printed on paper, mailed weekly. This info was then transferred to your letters manually, after sifting and sorting, of course.

Today, you can pull all the data you'll need electronically from PropertyRadar (formerly known as ForeclosureRadar).

Your task is to create a manageable list that you can work. I suggest people physically knock on at least 100 doors before learning how to write a good sales letter and never stop learning. My buddy Mike Cantu is a legendary whokesaler who also works your (farm) market.

Perhaps you attended the So Cal reia meeting when it was active and held meetings near ONT airport. I suggest you find other clubs and meet people to see what they're doing and find people's who are taking serious action and successfully doing deals.

The best investment you'll ever make is in your own education. Of course, you're going to get an education one way or another.
