Vetting your future team

Hello all,

As I have said in the past, I am a new real estate investor seeking further education. Well, new in a way that this time I want to educate myself first before further investing. By now, I have only been an accidental REI with 2 rental properties to show for.

Now that I have found a reliable real estate agent and have decided that my first "real" investment in 2015 will be a flip in the Atlanta area, I am further looking to complete my team. My next step is to start vetting accountants, attorneys and hard money lenders. My agent has supplied me with a couple references for each. I am currently creating interview questions for each of them and they are following:

1. Providing me with their RE references they have worked with in the past.

2. Pricing.

3. List of RE services they provide.

4. Are they willing to build long term relationships? Meaning, will they provide me with information today in order to benefit in the future? Of course, certain things have to be paid for right away.

I would love to get more experienced feedback from the BP community regarding the right questions to ask in the vetting process for accountants, attorneys and hard money lenders.

Thank you all in advance !!
