Hello, I currently own a single family house with an ADU, and a duplex. I have house hacked both properties while updating them. I've done my research with (reading books, podcasts, etc) but still feel like I'm not doing enough. I really want to do local meetups and interact with more advanced investors but don't know where to start. Any advice helps.

Go to GET STARTED > EVENTS AND MEETUPS at the top of your screen. You can also check meetup.com or search Facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.
You're feeling FOMO because you see people all over BP, YouTube, and Instagram bragging about their success. The vast majority of those people are exaggerating their successes. The real wealthy people are quiet, unassuming, running their business and not their mouths.
Keep networking, educating, and growing. It's a long game, not a sprint.

Meetup.com is pretty good, I'd check out here on BP and facebook as well. Spokane and CDA are great markets to be in
Hi Edward, To connect with more advanced investors in Spokane, start by exploring local real estate meetups through platforms like Meetup.com, Facebook groups, or BiggerPockets forums. Look into Spokane's REIA chapter for networking opportunities and consider attending real estate conferences in the region. Build relationships with local agents, property managers, and contractors who specialize in investment properties. If you can't find existing meetups, create your own by organizing casual gatherings for like-minded investors. Documenting your journey online or engaging on LinkedIn can also help expand your network. Let me know if you need any help with funding your next deals. Best, Drago
Take a step back and realize that you’ve done more than 99% will ever do when it comes to real estate.
That being said it’s worth understanding what’s working locally as your next step varies jurisdiction to jurisdiction. I’d be happy to connect and go over what I see my clients doing and what’s working, and what strategies are dead ends here.
I’m at the same point as you and somewhat feel the same. I have been part of a regular meetup for a couple years now and it definitely helps ground you in your local market. I like how Nathan mentioned that most social media stuff is inflated. You don’t need to be someone that owns $100M worth of real estate unless that’s really your goal.
One of the most successful investors that I know in my area told me that his business really didn’t take off until year 10. He bought his first couple houses in the first year or two and didn’t buy much for a few years. I’m learning that time, consistency, and patience are helpful.
