Greetings BP comunity! I'll try to be short and sweet.

I found this guy on a local add. The add said he was looking or accepting a real estate apprentice. So I emailed him. Since I emailed him I have discovered my local Real Estate Association and have made plans to attend their next meeting in hopes of establishing a connection there. His response looks a little gimmicky especially when he mentions "making 20k a month."

So my question is: Should I ignore this dude? Or make an effort to call him back? I've read a lot about how important it is to have integrity. But I feel if I call him back there's a chance I'm going to get a large sales pitch.

Thanks in advance, and if requested, I can copy and paste the email and his response.

I think real estate groups are the way to go. Some gurus are pretty good (IMO Dave Lindahl, Strategic Real Estate Coach and Jeffrey Taylor fall into this category) but many are scams and they are all generally expensive. The best way to start is to read a lot of books, read websites like this and talk to people at your local REIA group.
