I am a 20-year-old sophomore at The University of Iowa just starting out with real estate investing. I am interested in getting my real estate license this summer to get access to MLS listings. I called the Iowa Real Estate Commission and they told me the only way I could get my real estate sales license is if I'm affiliated with a broker.
Does anyone have their real estate sales license in Iowa? If so, are you affiliated with a broker? Also, are there any other options for me to gain access to the MLS listings in Iowa?

I am in the same situation more or less and after doing some research have found that this required by law. Have been told by others to find an investor friendly brokers that dont require you to do a certain number of deals or be in the office everyday. They simply are a license holder for you per say.. Pretty sure im on the right track here..anyone think different?
