Investing in Waco

Sebastian Lough
Posted May 28 2024, 17:19

Good evening, My name is Sebastian Lough and I am a Texan currently living in Australia but moving back to Texas in December. I have started looking into Waco as a potential destination and wanted some advice about renting in the area. I am a veteran and want to use my VA loan to house hack a 4 unit, just curios if there is a market for it.

Hey @Sebastian Lough, fellow Veteran and Texan here! Waco is a fair market, especially if you intend to rent to Baylor students. Using your VA loan to HH a 4 Plex is a great plan, I'd just make sure you evaluate the deal first to make sure the numbers add up. Let me know if you want to chat sometime.

Not a bad plan, House hacking alleviates alot of risk. If you need a second opinion or are curious about other markets here reach out I'd love to assist.
