Looking to connect with other mamas balancing jobs, kids and real estate!

Hi!

I'm a rookie real estate investor hoping to find or build a community of like-minded women. This journey that we're all on can be lonely, especially when it comes to balancing W2 jobs, kiddos and real estate investing. But it doesn't have to be that way.

A little about me: My husband and I live in the SF Bay Area, we have a 3 year old and a newborn and we both work W2 jobs in the biotech industry. We bought our first rental property in Columbus, OH at the end of 2023 and are now looking to purchase our next property. All my friends work W2s and no one I know is investing in real estate so I'm really looking forward to connecting with the amazing women on BP!

What I'm looking for: Other women going through similar challenges so that we can share our successes and our failures and lift each other up. Particularly other working mamas currently investing in real estate who are just starting out like me or in the wealth building stage. If that sounds like you, let me know if you'd be open to having a conversation!

Hi Ladies!

What a great idea! I am a SAHM working to get my real estate license, and trying to jump in the RE with my husband. We are trying to get out of analysis paralysis and make our first big move! Our kids are 2, 6, 9, and 11.

Would LOVE to connect! My husband and I are most interested in STR air bnbs and Apartment buildings but also love the idea of flipping for BRRRR.

Analysis paralysis can definitely be tough to get past but you got this! When the time is right you’ll make your move. STR can be great depending on your market! Best of luck with your search.

Hi there! I have been following this thread for a while and thought I'd chime in! I am based out of Indiana. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and working full time. I have my heart set on real estate investing and have been researching every free second I can. I am having trouble trying to figure out how I can jump into investing, keep up with my W2, be a good mom/wife, and everything in between. Would love to connect with you all to figure out how you balance everything and find success. I know I will get myself stuck in the analysis paralysis stage so I am hoping that bouncing ideas off this group will help me take the leap. I would love to connect with any of you!

@Elise Bickel Tauber Would be a great person to connect with! She's our CEO for both our Sales and Property Management companies as well as she co-owns a contracting company with her husband while managing a whole bunch of kiddos!

She's the best!
