New and Stuck! Advice appreciated!
I am beginning my journey to becoming a real estate investor in multi-family, and have been pouring over books and content for months and months. I am at the point where I have to look pretty hard to find content that has any information I have not heard already, at least in the free content.
I have loved real estate ever since I was a kid, and we used to walk properties being built for fun when I was growing up. I get so exited and feel so much passion when I am absorbing content, but when it comes to taking action, I am about it, all day, the thing is I have no idea where to start, or where to look where to start, although I am hoping this is a good starting point!
The reason the content I am studying won’t point me in the right direction where to start, is because I am in what is apparently a unique situation. Meaning I do not have any money to spend - I mean, literally NO available money to spend. I was hit by an 18 wheeler 2 years ago - my fault- and tried to start a business last summer that didn't succeed, which it shouldn't have, being that I hated every minute of mobile detailing, and I recently got to where I am at least head above water, but I am paycheck to paycheck. I’m not just being cheap, lol.
I am determined to do something I am passionate about, and I am working a job that I hate so much, I feel like quitting any day now, although I am thoroughly considering if it would be smart to do so.
I need a new job that aligns better with my passions, where I can make enough money to live in the meantime - so something in sales - but I legally can’t get a real estate license, and can’t go without pay in the meantime before sales.
I’v been through alot in my life, in fact where I am at today already proves that we can do anything we put our minds to! I am not making excuses for anything, simply explaining my situation to give a frame of reference.
I am looking for a mentor that can work with me one on one, but everyone wants to get paid up front that I have talked to, the best I can do is equity in deals-to-be. I have all the drive, passion, hunger, and work ethic in the world to offer. I am also a man of principals, character, honesty, as well as fun, personable, and just all around good vibes. And I am not going for a passive income - I am going to someday be on the same level as someone like Grant Cardone, but with a strategy of higher ethics. Nothing against Cardone, love his content. But I am dead serious.
I would sure appreciate some direction though, because boy am I stuck at the moment!
