Driving for dollars

I was recently on a drive and saw a house that looked vacant.  I went home and researched the property.  The owner died in 2015 and the property was taken by the town for unpaid taxes. After the town took it there has been zero activity at the property.  Excuse my ignorance but what would be the next step if there is one.  The property is in a very nice town in a nice area.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
