Best place to learn the business

I would love to fully immerse myself in the real estate investment lifestyle and begin working for experience rather than a simple paycheck. I will most likely be taking a paycut seeing as I am currently working in the field I am educated in so lets pretend for the moment that has no effect on my decisions. I would like to take on a job that would teach me a key aspect of the business but would like to take advantage of the vast wealth of knowledge on this site in making the decision as to where that will be. I would also like to sign up for a few seminars and would love recommendations from all of you to which were most beneficial to you.

As for my own experience and goals. I am extremely green when it comes to real estate. I have a B.Arch and M.arch degree in architecture and I have no debt to speak of making this move possible. I would like to start building assets in the form of multi family properties. I would plan to buy low cost rehab multi's rent and later sell when the market improves taking advantage of 10.31 to trade up, rinse repeat. This is plan is based on limited know how and will surely evolve with experience. I appreciate all thoughts, advise, and suggestions
