Wholesale lead generation and reaching out to owners

With all of the different lead generation methods and trying to get my first wholesale deal, how much different is the information provided through a PropStream skip trace compared to a true people search using that owners name listed? 

When driving for dollars and marking down these properties to call what is my best bet?
