Staring out wholesale

Eric Croteau
Posted

I'm 21 and trying to get into different avenues of passive income and ways to make money outside of my 9-5. Along with also being in the market to buy a house. I would like to start wholesaling and am looking for advice on where to start. I would greatly appreciate any guidance, I've been watching videos for months and have access to skip tracing and PropStream.

Hey @Eric Croteau

Network with investors in your area who are doing deals and learn as much as possible from them. My advice, especially if you are just starting out, would be to talk to as many sellers as possible so that you become comfortable on the phone. Don't try to convince someone to sell you their house. Remember, our job is to offer a quick and convenient AS-IS sale in exchange for a discounted price. Wholesaling is sales and marketing so I would also recommend working on your sales skills. Consume as much content as possible. Feel free to reach out with further questions.

Good luck!
