Book Suggestions and BRRRR Questions

I just finished reading David Greene's Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat book and I really enjoyed his insights.  I decided that I am going to take this year to gain the knowledge I need to become successful, while saving up.  Hopefully at the end of the year or early next year start I will have the capital to start pulling the trigger on properties.  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what other books to read (specifically on finding the right markets and deals and also rehabbing properties)?  I also was wondering for those who have had success BRRRRing multiple times, did you first place your focus on one city or region within a particular state or did you bounce around and have properties all over?  I live in Florida and would love to start here, but I am also more than willing to invest out of state as well.

Thank you for any wisdom!

Tyler

I would highly recommend doing your first deal within 30 minutes of where you live. No book can give you actual experience points. Investing out of state is very difficult.

Underwriting properties is critical, deals are right around you, you don’t need to go out of state to find them.
