Wanting to talk to a experienced investor!

Peyton Raeder
Posted

Hey everyone how's it going? My names Peyton I'm 18 and looking to start my real estate journey. I've been listening to BP Podcast for a little over a year and have been listening to BP audio books any chance I get trying to learn as much as I can and will appreciate any input. I currently live on the Eastern shore of Maryland but am looking to move somewhere on the "western shore"(some where west of the bay bridge within a hour of the DC area). My current first step in my plan to be financially independent in 5 years is to find or create a duplex and house hack it. The reason I'm posting this is because I'd like to talk to someone with experience investing in multi family homes and if someone in the Maryland, DC, and even the Arlington VA area would be willing to meet with me and answer some in depth questions that would be beyond great. Thanks for any help and input! ~Peyton

 Hey Peyton!

I've been running the Central Maryland REI Social for about 6 months now and think it would be a great event for you to come to. We meet at the end of every month at Jailbreak Brewing Company in Laurel, MD. We have quite a few experienced investors, realtors, lenders, etc who show up. It's really low key but everyone is pretty excited to talk about their real estate journey. Hope you can make the next one! I'll post the link to the last event:
