Need some advice plz

hello I am British view who enjoys watching bigger pockets i an aware that the housing markets are differnt in the UK to the US

but the property markets works in similar patterns. I am currently going through a very toxic divorce I have 3 small children.

I want to use property as one of my strategies to make income for me. I wanted to pick on your brains and expertise.

I am think of buying in low value areas between £50,000 to £60,000 for single family lets (buy to let) 2/3 bedroom 1 bathroom and kitchen living room. They are renting out around £525-£700 ( £700 if its semi 3 bedroom house)

I want to invest a bit more in more expensive areas £100,00-£150,000 for Hmo's (where you rent every room in the house apart from kitchen and living room it can give give £75 per week per room (4 bed house give us (£1200 per month )

I wanted to know should I sacrifice capital appreciation for rental growth?

I have been told that I should take out intrest only morgage rather than a capital repayment since it will eat into my profit.

but how do I start paying off my properties? I can pay into my morgages by 10% a year. I would rather have less profit but have ease of mind knowing that my houses are being payed off slowly over the next 25 year.

how are other investors thinking of ways to pay of the assets? Or should I force on rapid growth and then think about paying them off.

I would like to own around 35+ houses on the long run.

thank you for your time.

I am open to honest advice and strategies.

warm regards
