Anyone have any good advice on how to choose a property manager. Any bigger pockets books on the topic or blog post? Not interested in self managing looking on cutting down my current hours working each week. TIA

Talk to a couple of them and find out what the costs are, both for month to month and at turnover.  Ask how long they've been managing properties, how many units they handle, what kind of units and tenants.  Do they specialize in one area or one type of property.  How do they handle repairs.
