I really would like to start investing I real estate, should I start a corp. now or wait to get a few flips and wholesales under my belt?

NEVER hold real estate long term in a C-corp. It is not a good idea. However, there are other strategies that make sense.
For flipping LLC taxed as an S or C-corp. For holding long term either personally or an LLC.
