How much do you put into your business per month?

My partner and our business is still pretty fresh, only about a year. We do short term rentals via arbitrage, and are always looking to acquire and expand. However, we're wondering how much underwriting we should have, and also how much money we should be investing from our paychecks (we both still have day jobs) to strap the business with more cash and to invest more.

Anybody have any advice as to what they do? What is your underwriting on how much your business has in its coffers? How much money do you put in each month to expand more?
