Hi all;
I have read some good posts on forming LLC's here. Just some more queries. I live in OH. Anyone used John Hyre's or Darius Barazandeh's course form forming a LLC? I have heard mixed things about Legal zoom and other online sites, and a lot of local attorneys are expensive. Thanks for any input!

Eric

a client of mine came into my office last week with a binder...she had just formed an llc and was interested in business banking. i asked her what her EIN (business tax #) and she lookd through her book and didnt have it. she called up the company and they argued back and forth that her $400 package to form the LLC didn't include that and an additional $75 was needed to get the EIN.

i did it for her in literally 30 seconds on the irs website FOR FREE!

point of the story: not everything is as difficult as it sounds. as john said, go to the sec of states website and get it done. you can also find some operating agreements online that you can tailor to fit your situation.
