I'm looking for some feedback from the BP community who is already in the postion where I'm headed. With the acquisition of a few more properties, I will be an official accredited REI. I will retire from my W-2 and focus on real estate. But I also want to start other businesses outside of real estate. Will the IRS recognize me as a real estate professional with other businesses? I will have this conversation with my CPA but I'm curious to hear from you guys and gals who is alresdy going through this wonderful delima. Thanks
