1031 vs. 721 Exchange

I just read this article on 721 exchanges and it is definitely interesting. I would like to get your guys thoughts on the 721 exchange instead of the 1031.

Depends upon what you want to do. We can all speculate all we want. But the real questions is what do you want to do? Do you want to control the property or be a shareholder in a REIT/Partnership etc?
