I have been interested in Real Estate investing since I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley where I was a member of the Undergraduate Real Estate Club. I am attracted to Real Estate because of the leverage available to RE investors and the ability to increase the inherent value of investments.
I am a project engineer for a real estate development company currently developing a 3 acre multifamily site in the Denver Tech Center. I also have a background in finance. I am looking for fix/flip and/or buy/hold opportunities anywhere from Denver north up to Ft. Collins, and south to Colorado Springs.
I am looking to diversify my income and build up a portfolio of income-generating real estate properties, that will allow me to enjoy financial freedom in my retirement years (or sooner). I hope to be in a position to retire in 11 years.
