My advice is to pass on this one if:-You are not 100% comfortable of the numbers independent of his-You do not have an understanding of your agreement together and his obligations are spelled out-Your agent has more skin in the game other than commissionsYou can always pass on this accepted bid and re bid when the property comes back on to give you more time to gather information.

It may vary between different lenders, but technically what qualifies as your primary residence is merely the home you live in for the majority of the year (4/7 days a week should satisfy that requirement),  There are some nuances to this rule, I'm sure, so be sure to speak with a lender who has a lot of experience with FHA.

This may vary with local codes, but I'm quoting the Federal HUD standards.Additionally, the window must be an "egress" window, which means that a fully equipped firefighter with a air tank must be able to get through the window, and occupants must be able to escape through the window.
