As someone else pointed out, people children came home.

Families with children are likely to feel w/d in the unit is a necessity.

We invest our time and talents in our jobs, to our children, to sports, etc.

I feel terrible for her and her children/grandchildren.

It was rehabed about 15 years ago and was done by the children of a long time resident.

For a major rehab I would not want that to be the platform for children to be involved.

The school system decided to close the school and integrate the children into mainstream schools and they both lost their jobs.  

 Not sure what fortum to post this is so just dropping it here....just had the wonderful (sarcasm) discussion of how my elderly mom can  best pass her house to her children when she passes.

Be prepared for delays,lots of them.Rain and snow(if any) can ruin the days you had scheduled to repair the roof,paint the exterior,repair or change the landscape or driveway,etc.Also,if you're trying to sell single family homes beware,parents don't normally want to move their children to a new home and possibly to new schools in the middle of a bitter cold winter.Only if you price the home well below the after repair value and give them some instant equity will you get good enough offers to accept.Even in warmer weather states like California and Florida,finding multiple offers from families with school aged children can be difficult.Be prepared for the home to sit on the market for 90 days or more until it gets closer to the end of the school year.

What the fools didn't realize that the greedy managers of those Senior Living Residences would prevent millions of seniors who are financially unable and unprepared to afford the small condo-sized unit residences + vehemently UNWILLING to move into such residences instead preferring to remain in their beloved homes where they lovingly raised & cared for their spouse & children and where they know every single INCH of their current home!
