What Do You Want from Your Property Managers
14 May 2016 | 4 replies
I am in the process of ticking the boxes to open my own property management company because I don't feel that they protect people's investment as well as they should, or could, So I ask you what is it you look for in a property manager and what actions taken by the company would make you want to do business with only them in that area?

I'm sure there are some to be had, but my only recent success (with very aggressive searching) has been a property that only worked with some wacky out-of-the-box sidework.

Samantha I personally just got a BS schedule C job that showed up as "Property Management Assistant" on my taxes just to check the box, so I could use rental income on my own multiunit o/o purchase when it came time. Most folks aren't willing to do that, or will think it crazy.
