This is a great discussion.As to new grads living at home, they can play video games in the basement of their parents' house the same as they can in an apartment somewhere, all the while bashing the upper 1% who owes them a job or a check.

Take photos or videos, and find the copy of your lease or rental agreement, and the paperwork or email you have giving notice and defining your moveout date.

I plan on buying the tape/video when available.

I'll say, considering that BiggerPockets was an unknown quantity to me before this, shilling out $250 bucks (I was late to register but thanks to Marty Boardman's video clips I found out about it in time) seemed a bit on the risky side.

I don't own properties out of state, but in your case since you live far away from your properties just ask your PM to take pictures or better yet video of each property and send it to you.
