I hate pink and black but - it aint me - good suggestions here - recaulk and seal to make it look better if needed and examine the window/sill - if it aint rotten...., clear shower curtain is a good suggestion on both counts.if there are any inexpensive staging ideas to enhance the retro look, you might use them.

In one occasion when the first carpet replacement service looked shaky to get delayed, I spent another 5 hours, including 4 hours' bus travel out of town to the provider's depot to examine the sample and get a quote, not looking for a cheap quote, but just tried to reserve a backup in case the first did have significant delay.

And that is an okay strategy but you may want to ramp up screening for what areas you can (btw, that may or may not have been your strategy in the purchase and it could be one to examine if it was not your goal and as tenants cycle out)....

Owning a property as tenant in common allows you a lot of flexibility.You do need to examine your intent and how you would document it so that you would not be construed as having purchased the property primarily for resale.
