If you truly believe in tech and you see Austin like a potential SF or Seattle, then you can be comfortable in Austin.

Service Techs are specialized and may be an hour or 2 away. 

Huge job growth with extremely stable economy (government and university largest employers) with medical sector about to explode here and of course tech is booming as well.  11th largest city in the nation and predicted to double in size within 20 years. 

I have colleagues in tech who make astronomical salaries who are looking for primaries.

We are in a high tech world so you can get calls/emails  just about anywhere. 

I have access to contractors and realtors alike through the line of work I'm in right now - HVAC tech - so I am planning on utilizing some of those contacts when the time comes.  

In Santa Monica I found that it attracted businesses with tech or engineer teams working on month long projects and looking for lodging and business men traveling with families.

I personally don't invest in TX as that is the only state my lender does not operate however I am getting feelers about tech sector softening(May be, may not).Good Luck InvestingVivek

If the tech was called and was able to get out tuesday but because of her scheduling she pushed it out longer it's not your fault you're making every effort to get the issue resolved.
