I pay state income tax in CO on the rental income and state tax in CA for my W2 job.However, I sold some stock (which was held for years) in 2019 and noticed a slight increase in my CO state income tax.Then in 2020 I sold substantially more stock and my CO state income tax payment doubled.

hello everyone my name is dylan i am from brainerd mn i currently own my house 3 bed 2 bath modular with an unfinished basement and 2.5 acres i am starting my rei journey this year i will be partnering with a friend of mine on a new build duplex with a 1 stall attached garage on each unit on a 2 acre lot we are going to be building it handicap accessible in hopes to contract with local nursing homes or companies in need of houses for there clients i am just wondering if there is anyone else who has done this and if they could give me any advice that would be great

The only thing I see slowing this market down is an increase in rates, or if builders figure out a way to double or triple the rate at which they can build.

Building is approximatley 2700 sq ft with each unit being approximately 700 sq ft and consisting of 2 beds & 1 bath.See pics below:
