I went over to make peace last week, and the subtenants agreed to move out by this past Saturday.The subtenants didn't move out on Saturday and now they are saying that they won't move out until the end of this month, which I now believe to mean that they won't move out until they are forced out by law.My tenant did not have the subtenants sign a contract.

The complex my daughter rented in had specific smoking stations located outside the buildings about 100 feet from front entrance with benches and can for ashes, and every tenant had to sign that there would be no smoking in any part of the building, including patios.

Doubt you will get your money back.For the small amount and fees and time to recover it you would be best to move on.Now if you plan on suing for specific performance then you need to show up on closing day on time and ready to sign your documents.This shows you were holding up your end of the deal and documents if the seller does not show.You need to read your contract to determine breach remedies upon default by the buyer or the seller.
