One solution I have right now is just to get a year lease and wait to see how things work out in the housing market, we will have around 60k by the end of 2019 (saving around 50k/year cash after that) to use towards an investment (this may or may not be real estate), then I can reevaluate come 2020 and see if it makes sense to buy a home then.

Until figuring out a better solution, a temporary one might be to set up automatic transfers/payments for the end of the month from the smaller accounts to the larger one.

In any case, the approach that printing money is the solution and that it has "actual value" is dangerous to your financial future.
