I'm trying to learn from my mistakes, including being able to read a title, getting all other information (liens, loans, taxes, etc.), fully researching before I buy a property, getting a lawyer to help in future bids, title insurance, and home insurance.talked to a title insurance company they said my my title search is an abstract does that mean there might be vital info missing regards to more money i might have to pay  ??

What I've learned so far is that investing is a long term game and not a get rich quick scheme lol.

I think it's the best way to get started when you don't have a ton of money to spare, and you are still learning.1. look up on facebook marketplace what other people are offering their rooms for, that will help you get an idea of what you can charge.

I’m here seeking out someone to just take me under their wing and help a newbie learn the ropes or just provide some insight into how they would start investing if they were in my situation.Here is a brief idea of what my situation is:I own a home in Northport, Alabama which is about 20 minutes from downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama - Home to the University of Alabama.
