They are expanding the major freeway that connects Pearland to downtown so traffic is bad right now, but I believe they are expected to finish in late 2019 so the area is only going to explode more than it already is.

Anything else leaves room for bad feelings that someone is getting taken advantage of.

Just looking to hear from someone who may have had the bad luck to have been sued and advice about what did or didn't work in their favor.

If I were a tenant and my landlord raised the rent after my notice date, I would fight it.  

There are way too many good deals to try to make a bad one work.

The motel really isn't a bad thing.

So there is really no downside to paying a junior PM minimum wage to waste his/her day in court while the owner gets a bad tenant out and a new tenant for (most likely) higher rent. 

But I didn't want to ruin relationship with a new neighbor.Against my better judgment, I rented to DIL & BF, dreading it would come to bad ending. 

My question: how do you stay motivated to continue fighting the fight to keep investing, flippling, selling, etc. 

Does anyone have any personal experience dealing with the college kids in this area, good bad or ugly?
