It seems to eschew the common sense inherent a borrower remaining insured as the policy additive, which has been the unquestioned logic in practice...until now, apparently.

I haven't got to the negotiation stages yet but am getting close and would like to have my stategy in place before the haggling starts.I reckon, not based on anything other than what I see as logic, that if I can procure the B&B, I can get some good people to either live in or live out and manage the place while I live my other life.In the mean time i can be strategist, marketeer and facilitator.Need someone who has done it to tell me it really can work though and what the down sides are.Thanks for all the help folks.Robin

So it seems more logical that their agreement/contract is technically with the person who signed it and their only recourse would be to go after that person.

@Andrew Magoun I agree with your logic on the early payment discount thing but I had an attorney at one point tell me it couldn't legally be done as it was just a blatant work-around to the late fee law.

Don't get discouraged - the seller has a totally different point of view from the buyer, and sometimes no amount of facts or logic can make them change their mind.

IDK most banks are unable to make many logical decisions, I now avoid all banks if possible and arrange private lending or partnerships.
