From my research it seems that wholesaling is fairly common in the states, but I can't seem to find many articles/videos from UK RE wholesalers.

If you decide to do something on a property needing repairs, make sure the seller or joint venture (jv) partner will video the property in as-is state and do some progress videos.

All the videos on you tube and guru blogs say to do it.

Been looking in the Hampton Roads area in VA and have my eyes set on this property which we'll call Waldo II ;) Here are the details: Property type: 4Plex List Price: 190,000 Income: Unit 1: 500 Lease (1/2014 - Dec/2014) Unit 2: 595 Lease (5/2013 - April /2014) Unit 3: 595 Lease (7/2012 - July/2014) Unit 4: 700 (Section 8) (Oct/2011 - Oct 2014) My out of state Realtor took a look at one of the units and showed me a video and it looked in great shape.

Funny story, I actually stayed up until 4am googling, reading and watching videos last night (and now I am sitting at work as tired as can be) and you just solidify what I THOUGHT I earned last night!

I use an iphone for the video and ask them to say what 3 things they liked doing business with me.

Read the books, watch the videos, listen to the podcasts and do it religiously.
