Paul N. Deed recording question
2 March 2008 | 4 replies
In my case, it would HAVE to be one of the above, as I am going to be buying out-of-state properties and plan on re-selling them I cannot visitevery property I buy, and I certainly do not want to have to physically travel to each County Courthouse to record a Deed everytime I sell aproperty, as this would be prohibitively expensive, time-consuming, eat-upprofits and interfere with my day-job.Third, there are services in most parts of the country that will handle recordings for you so that you do not have to worry about all of the details such as is it $8 per page or $10 per page only to find out that the recording was bounced for $1.00.The only service I found that did all 50 States was udeed.com, run by a law firm out of Nevada.Prices vary depending on the location of the property, but in the case ofmy WV property, they would do deed-preparation, research and recordthe Deed for approx $300 + whatever fees and taxes WV and the Countycharged.
