Hello all,Are there any rental investors that deal in the southeast sector of Delaware County?

I need you guys to weigh in two things (and anything else you think I need to know).  1) Can you suggest a renovation contractor in the Shreveport, LA-Marshall, TX-Longview, TX area that has expertise in this type of renovation?

The commission is paid by the seller (not you), so you should definitely take advantage of their help and expertise in that area.

You can hire a 3rd party company to do that if it's beyond your expertise.

The last two responses were excellent and really exactly what I was looking for: current views from the ground in the area of question or expertise in the oil industry and how it relates to real estate.  

Once you've found one, use them and their expertise to the fullest.  

@Cameron Campbell, Michaels story is a text book usage of the 1031 to change geography and sectors of real estate to maximize return and place your money where it can reap the greatest returns in appreciation and cash flow.  

Story seems a bit fishy too.Anyway, any expertise and wisdom would be appreciated!
