The checking account is for receiving all income. you paid the bills from that same account, and transfer any savings to the savings account.

Hi BP,I’m selling a property in MO that was purchased in my personal name and transferred to an LLC.

To get the most reliable information I recommend visiting city hall to access deed and tax records. 

It may be difficult to obtain financing on it in the LLC, but even if that is difficult you could consider buying it in one or a couple of your names and then using an attorney to transfer it into the LLC after its closed.

Every month transfer the amount that you calculated for living expenses (all of it) into the new account and see how that goes. 

@Brian Boyd I appreciate your post on how depreciation recapture works but what I am asking is when you defer taxes with a 1031 exchange to another property do those taxes transfer to the new property to be paid at a later date?
