You can't even go in to inspect the house while the Covid19 is around.

I would recommend you get a permit and have everything inspected.

Currently self-managing the property and my question is.....how often are you (or your property mgrs.) checking up, inspecting, performing maintenance on the property?

Inspectors are not allowed to conduct a home inspection as well but Appraisers are still doing appraisals.

Cost: After speaking with the City Building Department, I learned that there is a minimum deposit for reviews and inspections of $5,000 when I submit my initial development plan to the city, which has a 4-9 month turnaround time.  

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but you'll be hard pressed to buy a fixer upper on this loan due to the inspection requirements.

Since I’m new to this, I am not sure how to proceed as I have two issues.. 1) tenant strength is different vs when I agreed to this deal a few months ago2) it’s impossible to do tenant interviews, inspection, etc given current conditionsI had my lawyer draft a extension addendum and seller agreed to a 15 day extension, but it’s such a short period extra and doesn’t address the tenant strength issue I am facing.
