And while I personally think prolonged vacancy is unlikely in Massachusetts, this is one reason it is important to keep reserves on hand.Happy to chat further here in the forums or via DM -- but in my opinion there is no such thing as "too much" for a house hack!

However, there are a few things you should keep in mind.Most of these platforms require that you be an accredited investor in order to invest in their real estate syndication offerings.

I would check on FB Marketplace (although I loathe that platform) and CL for comps in your area.Regarding the basement, you may find it hard to enforce the "no storage" rule if they have access.
