As has been mentioned above, the worst thing you can do in such a situation is go in being able to juggle loans (see Uncut Gems...good movie even for investors to check out) that ultimately can turn into gambling when you don't know if you're numbers are going to bear out and you're going to hit a profit that makes it worthwhile in the end.

More specific ideas for business that still operate these days: scrubs shop, medical equipment, bikes shop, pet stores, hardware stores, nurseries, beauty supplies, dollar stores, cannabis store (if legal in your state) or CBD products store, vape/smoke shops, doughnut stores, Fitness equipment store, pop-up COVID testing centers.Bonus round:If your location has a big parking lot, you can set up a "movie drive-in" on some nights and have the businesses in the strip serve the food/drinks.

If you want a more concrete list, some of the worst ways to spend money (in my opinion):Going to the movies, buying drinks out regularly, trendy home decor (that will soon be out of style), buying a new car, eating out regularly, impulse buys (of basically any kind, to include travel unless it's an insanely good deal), books you won't read (if you know you'll read them it's fine), anything to "keep up with the Joneses", basically anything that won't last.
