The property was inherited after their father has self managed for many years.

Basic woodworking is the only reno skill that I came by the traditional way, from my father.

My girlfriends father is a contractor who said it would cost anywhere from $250-$350 per square foot.

My father, Richard Stoler (a realtor with Key Realtors) was really great and has 30-40 years of detailed hands on knowledge of historic reconstruction.

Yeah the tricky part is that on paper I look like I have zero skin in the game, but in reality i have read a lot of books, listened to podcasts and my father is a real estate investor and was a real estate developer overseas, and i have learnt a lot from him, all the tips and trick for over 4 years now.A little back drop of where my drive comes from:My father came from nothing as a refugee and has no college degree at 18 yeas old.

I have inherited an Industrial manufacturing building in Colorado that leases space to a family member's manufacturing business.My father, being the owner of both the building and the mfg business, had been providing the space at very generous rates.

Just because it was a great deal .I figured I had an extra truck for plowing ............UNTIL  my father saw it , he asked me whos it was and I told him and he said " its not yours Its mine I want it "   I asked him ' what the hell do you NEED a truck for at 84 years old "  So I let him test drive it and he starts leaving 20 foot of rubber on the ground . " NOW I REALLY WANT IT " He got the truck , it will probably get 500 miles a year on it 

I saved up money and told my father-in-law (a REALTOR) I wanted to buy an investment property.

We do have a solid mentor in my father-in-law who has owned commercial real estate for 20+ years and runs a construction business.Thanks a million!
