Problem is that OOS is not easy you need to learn a whole new market and spend a lot of time traveling and trusting a lot of people 1000s a miles away.Ideally, if you have the funds I think investing locally gives investors a big advantage. 

I haven't seen a lot of those in my travels...

Does anyone know a good insurance broker in Denver that can source from multiple national or large insurance companies (eg Safeco, Travelers, AIG, etc.)?

And furthermore, if that is even a path I would travel, instead of just finding several great sponsors and expand more into passive investing, instead of my natural inclination to want to be hands on. 

I was driving approximately 2.5hrs one way and burning through money with travel expense.

I enjoy traveling and spending time out doors, hiking, in my free time.

The plan is to rent a room to a traveling nurse doctor or any other healthcare professional for atleast 13 weeks(from what i hear that the average time spent).
