Lastly, give free home improvement seminars at the library, no advertising but educational tips.

Once I explained the level of customer service I was expecting and the level of customer service I was actually receiving and the vast difference between the two, things improved greatly.We're ready to do the next one and I am hoping that the rep we got was just going through a bad patch or was new or something and that our next one will be better.  

I've found their fee structure to be simple and inexpensive (VRBO, on the other hand, had undisclosed fees that pissed me right off), and the interface is VASTLY simpler to use. 

$15K is ridiculous IMO, maybe $500... but $15K, for what.. some spreadsheets, and knowledge you can get from reading books at the library for free?     

But I think surrounding myself with people that really know what they're doing would provided me with such a vast supply of knowledge, past listening to books and podcasts.

I buy the vast majority new and delivered to my door from Amazon, American Furniture Warehouse, Costco, or similar.

Those 4 areas are vastly different.
