Today I'm putting my first mailing campaign together because driving for dollars is slooooowwww going so far.

Is it more beneficial to spend all my time driving the streets to gain free leads, only to later spend the money on the mailing campaign of maybe 100-500 leads over a few weeks?

My campaigns were more trial sized than anything.I sent markets to 100 unqualified leads who filled for divorce in the last 6 months.

@Dean Ingraham, I plan on bringing contractors out to houses that I find through my own mail campaigns, but for ones that I'm looking at from wholesalers, realtors, etc, the houses are gone by the time I get a contractor out to look at it.

If you buy at the steps, which I don't recommend for beginner investors, you will need cashiers checks to pay for the purchase after winning the auction.I would recommend you look at different types of motivated sellers and creating a direct marketing campaign to find your first deal.  

If not then I need to be able to export that to excel for uploading to direct mail service providers and to email service for emailing the leads and putting on drip campaign.I also need to be able to track the results of the direct mail campaigns and keep notes on conversations with sellers, set reminders for follow up calls, etc.I guess what I need is a CRM that can do all of this in one.

I am about to launch my first direct mail campaign, but am worried that I will miss most of the calls due to my full time job keeping me so busy.

This can be done when you setup your ad campaign.

Anyways I'm in the middle of finding my first few deals, basically I got a targeted audience list from my county's auditor and controller and executed multiple direct mail campaigns with my offer.

My current plan of attack is an intense boots-on-the-ground campaign utilizing Driving for dollars in conjunction with a Direct Mail Marketing campaign for the Rancho Cucamonga and Upland areas.
