Specifically, photos of bedding , personal hygiene items, food, etc . lack of these items should be proof enough of abandonment.

However, do bear in mind that houses that are selling for 10-15K over asking price are being sold to RETAIL buyers from sellers who could afford to spend the time and money to get the house in tip-top shape to sell and who have the luxury of waiting for the sale to close.

Yet what is being sold to local and out of state folks are really pushing the numbers.

Also, I would look at your original scope and compare with his change order invoice to see if any of the them items are the same or billed twice.
