My parents taught me about traditional investing and I am thankful for that, but WOW there are so many ways to skin a snake! 

With the Stock and crypto market already falling a lot YTD, im not to sure if right now is the best time to be buying real estate, I may be wrong though, I was planning on buying a home somewhere in Ottawa the beginning of this year, either a single family or condo, im only 20 though, so I do not have any skin in the game, so if anyone with more experience than myself can pitch in, that would be great.

Most lenders would want to see experience and track record to remove your need for skin in the game.

The hard money lenders that I've worked with in Houston have required you to have some skin in the game even if they're willing to lend almost 100%.

I have no interest in that company, Steve probably has no clue as to who I am, so none of my skin in the game...but I think he gives some pretty good advice in that podcast.Rentals and wholesaling two total different ballgames. 

They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

While I do not agree regarding your 'drug and alcohol' rules, I do agree with the kids learning some valuable lessons and putting some "skin" in the game.

So you can start your investment with very low skin in game but note there is some more what you must know in this game.
